We are officially going to attempt a homebirth.
After our Bradley class on Friday, Rob told me that I'm just too anxious about a hospital birth and that he thought it would be better for us to do a homebirth. I called the midwife this morning to let her know. She is going to call me back later today to schedule an appointment to start my chart and collect our deposit.
What a relief this is! I feel so much better about the birth process. And hopefully, if everything goes well, we will be able to welcome our little bundle of joy in the comfort of his home.
Now we just have to paint the nursery and get everything set up and ready to welcome him.
